I uninstalled "ext2fsd" which I was using to view my Linux partition via windows. And now it's all fine.
I guess that uses drivers so maybe you were right ;P
Is there any alternative software which won't break my pc lel

Shouldn't there be a way to run these types of programs in a closed enviroment? IE they only load the services when launching and then close them afterwards?
