Hacking Connecting to Wifi with a Patch safe?

I am currently using Rudolph's Universal Child Play Patch with AKAIO 1.7.1 I am hoping the loaders will be updated within the next couple of days but anyways
I was wondering if its safe to connect to WIFI while I am using a Patch I used to never use WIFI with a patch before so I was to ask someone who knows more about
this stuff then me
