I ordered a Switch for my dauchter two days ago and it will be delivered today. From when I ordered I've been search n this forum on how to determine if and if yes, how to get a custom FW on the switch. I can't find what I am looking for. Now, I am not new to this Nintendo FW flashing. Did it before without problems with a DS, Wii and Wii U, so I do find most of the time what I need.. Could someone please point me in the right direction to finding what I need.

No, don't mean sx os chip. CFW with the ability to play games from SD like on the Wii U.

If you bought a brand new switch, it's very likely patched. You would need to order the SX OS mod chip to run CFW on it.

hiya, please check serial number on switch to see if patched( use link posted by player above ) , if its not patched , then carefully proceed,....... if patched , you will need modchip

Okay. Clear. Will wait until the Switch is deliverd. I fear it is patched, so probably need the sx os chip. Tnx all.
