TDK at 4x works

I use Verbatim -Rs at 8x speed on a HP DVD Writer dvd420e and they work PERFECT not one bad burn!

Just got my Verbatims and they are working fine!

I had blue TDK (-r) disks btw with an LG burner that did NOT work. Verbatims do work. Also ordered 100 Taiyo Yudens since I heard that was the best brand (and quite cheap too.

i started off using some cheap ass unbranded dvd-rs, that worked fine initially but after a while when the dvds got a little worn and scratched they started giving read errors. ive had similar experience with datawrite. ri-data and memorex + and - have both worked fine. you can never go wrong with verbatim though, most reliable brand and garaunteed to work, i only try alternatives coz verbatim can be quite hard to get hold of for a reasonable price, where as ri-data have been working fine and i can get for like a 1/3 the price from the market.
