Not surprised at all. Of course they wouldn't have anything to release and they probably wont for another 1-2 years at the very least.

So how was this such a revolutionarily-big bug if no developer can create meaningful Homebrew for it in the near future?

People talking about how it's a massive thing and devs saying to stay on 3.0.0 or below yet nothing will happen for another few years somehow? Doesn't make sense.

The title is wrong.
It says "there WILL be no releases for smhax"
What makes you so sure to say that there will never be a release of any sort?

All they are mentioning there is that they CURRENTLY have nothing to release.
The bug is there, it is well documented, but they have nothing working for it at the moment, no code has been executed from said exploit.

That is not to say that they will do so down the line.

@Cyan could you modify the title?
It is clickbaity af.

That's not entirely false, this can't and will never be released the way users expect it.
we don't know the future, and it could be used or "mixed" with another exploit, but I wouldn't expect future vulnerabilities to use old (patched) ones.

But it's not that "there will be no release", it's more that "there is nothing to release".

Remember, a vulnerability IS NOT an exploit.
you can't release a vulnerability! but you can document it (which is already done)

I don't know if it's clear, I hope it will help users understand what is the current situation.
