Is there a version of CFG loader that detects SD first?
When I load the cfg loader while my Wii U hdd is plugged in, it freezes, Without that it works fine.

I'm pretty sure sd is checked before usb by default. However, you can adjust your config settings using the configurator to choose what drives/partitions get loaded iirc, you may be able to resolve the issue by tinkering with these settings

I already did it in config settings and also in config.txt "device = sd" and it always looks for wii u hdd, the wii u hdd is on the back of the wii u with a y cable.
Cfg 70r78.11

Have you tried using the beta versions @matto21 made available one page back on this thread? beta53 fixed and improved several things imo although I did not try the earlier beta, maybe one of these versions will be golden.

I already did it, it didn't work for me, I'll stay with Wiiflow 5.5.1 but Cfg is more compatible with VWii.

Where do you put the .dol after downloading? Replace the boot.dol in the correct app folder? I was able to download cfg70r78.11.dol but I don't know where to put it. Does anyone know if cfg70r78.11-222.dol supports multiple cIOS's or is Hermes 222 required to run it? Or is it just built with support but not requirement for that?

It goes in the same place all dols go and named boot.dol

Hello@ll.

Edited:
I want this game to run on my PAL-E Wii: Arcade Shooting Gallery [R74E20]. But on starting that game my Wii constantly goes blackscreen and the WiiMote disconnects. I tried different cfg-usbloader-versions (github/brink182, Modmii DLPage2, cfg71beta51t3) and altered a few Gamebootingoptions (gamestandard/force ntsc, video patch on/all, region fix) but all with no success.

Hello,

did you try with this version of Configurable loader v70?(Version r78.11)===>Configurable loader v70

recommend ==> FAT 32 external hard drive

If you have a USB key, it may come from this one. (In general USB keys are to be avoided, because they often give a black screen or do not start).
If you have a USB key ==>try formatting it ====>in WBFS format.

@jeannotte

My allday-version is 70.78 from brink182@github.
I'm using an USB 2.0 3,5'' HDD with 1 TB capacity formatted to fat32 connected to the lower USB-port of the Wii. My other 11 ntfs games do work great but not this one: Arcade Shooting Gallery [R74E20].

Do you really think Version r78.11 can run tis game on PAL-E Wii if Version r70.78 doesn't?

Shure I can try and I don't want to be unkind or unthankfull, but I much more hoped for help in adjusting the per-game-options as i think there is where to find the problem.

test the version that I quoted above and you will make up your own mind whether it works or not, you must always test to see if it works

external hard drive plugged into port 0 of the wii.

Me neither , just you help .

My Hero of the day!
I didn't exspect the language-select-dialogue to be important. Setting it to English made the difference. Thank you very much @matto21 and also @jeannotte and @XFlak

Wow thanks for these "new" beta versions, just when I was about to switch to GX for lacking Emunand support ^-^

Edit: In Beta 7151t3, where is the create Emunand option you guys were talking about?
