Ok so everything is working fantastic right now. Only thing I want to know is if there is a way to change the name CFG USB displays for each game? Somehow my care are sorted all funny. Like Twilight princess is under L for legend buy Skyward Sword is under Z for Zelda. Only other question is for games like Fatal Frame, at one point CFG USB pulled a fan made cover for the game that had the English title. Now that I refreshed everything I got the Japanese cover again. How can I switch?

When i load cfg loader there should be a title above each little round bubble below that tells the user what it is.
For example when you see the game covers just underneath there are about 5-6 icons which allow different options but these need a name.
Can this be done please?

So I'm new to modding and I've run into a weirdly specific problem with my thumbdrive that I can't find any info about. CFG fails to load if its already plugged in and freezes if I put it in after it has loaded. If I take out the drive, the wii unfreezes and continues as normal. I tried running cfg with a different thumbdrive and it worked fine, unfortunately that drive is too small to actually use. The drive is a brand new empty HP 8GB stick and works fine on my PC. I've tried reformatting it with no luck. Any ideas on what could cause this?

I don't know much about ios stuff, but i know 1 thing.
- Setting some games to use ios250 instead of ios249 does solve some games.
- Stick if you can to your own regio games, if not try force PAL 480p or force PAL60
- Be sure you make good backups of your games (or download only scene releases)

Every game i tried works great under v.70 some with a little bit tweaking of the there settings (don't forget to save before you play)

Well that probably means your usb stick isn't really compatible with the wii . You can try downloading cfg70-222.dol renaming it to boot.dol & overwrite the one in the usb loader folder inside the app folder . If that doesn't work then you need to get another one .

What format is your HDD in? I can't tell what bases you have for your cIOS's. Did the first version of SysCheck freeze on you?

I don't thinks the problem is game specific. Sometimes the game works, and sometimes it won't boot. But after 20 minutes the same game will boot, without changing the settings.
Sometimes games won't load, or give a black screen, then the problem is often regio related.
You can fix the problem by changing the IOS version, but after a while the game won't start on the new IOS, and you have to change it to the old one to make it boot. With games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, witch only work on IOS 250, this doesn't work!

I hope there is a simple fix, because it can be annoying!

Edit: @JoostinOnline: No freeze, and I don't know what format my HDD is, I remember I formatted it with WBFS manager for Windows.

You could answer my questions.

Also, if you had 224[57]v5.1 rodries mod installed, you could probably switch to that for MW3.

I posted it before I saw your post, so I edited my post ;)

Well you were supposed to use the first version of SysCheck, and only use later ones if it didn't work. Run it again with the first version (beta 14) and post your syscheck.

I imagine you have WBFS. FAT32 is the standard now, although I've never heard of a case where WBFS didn't work, but FAT32 did. You could convert it, but let's save that as a last resort.

Ah ok, I didn't know there were 2, I will try the first version, and will post it! Thanks ;)

Edit: Hmm Homebrew channel won't load. Don't have time right now, will post it this weekend...

Edit 2: Reinstalled Homebrew Channel quickly, and used the right version of System Check:

I loaded Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on my system and when I try to play it, it will get to the loading screen and sit there.
i let it try loading for about 5 min before I forced it to shut down.

I have USB CFG Loader v 70 with all the latest IOS's, I just re=modded my Wii about 2 months ago with ModMii by XFlak

I tried loading it with IOS 249 and 222 m-load neither 1 worked.

Thanks for the help.

Have you tried selecting "Main" (point at the bottom of the screen) and then "Boot disc"?

Hi all,

I have a weird problem. v69 worked fine but when I updated to v70 it will not load my games (it continues to display the CFG USB loader intro screen). The loader is started using priiloader. When downgrading to 70b5 it's ok, but since 70b6 it simply will not load all games. Anyone experienced this too?

Fixed: I updated my forwarder and all is ok now:

Still have my strange coloured screen when booting directly... anyone has that too?

Regards,

Nika.

Go with 247 (works for me). There is a whole thread dealing with CoD Black Ops and the solution which applies to MW3 as well.

If he used ModMii then it will need to be 250 or 224.
