Hi cfg usb loader team.

Thanks a lot for your great loader.

Could you add the feature supporting DVD multi games made by wiiscrubber ?

There is no mutiboot update.
Now I cannot play some DVD multi games which including 002 error.

Greetings.

I asked a few days ago.
You have no plan for multi DVD games TEAM cfg ?

Two of the factors that we look at when considering options to add to the loader are:

Does this have a use to non-pirates?
Does this damage your Wii?

That feature is pretty dodgy on both counts. You don't gain much by putting multiple games on one disc apart from eliminating a little disc switching. Burnt discs are also known to damage the Wii laser, so we definitely wouldn't want to encourage that.

tldr version: NO

This is beautiful.
Downloadable themes with images and theme stats.
CFG USB loader developers are the bomb.

Great work as always.

Wii hang/freeze my 10/100 switch(SMC-EZ1016DT) when I play game that load from the loader

I have no problem playing the game from disc channel but if I load game from the loader my switch will hang.
Other devices that connect to this switch will not be able to connect to the Internet.
If I quit the game and exit to nintendo main menu, my switch will be back to normal.

There is no problem on router because my wireless connection and device that connects to this
router directly work fine.

I notice that if I play game from disc channel the led on the port on switch that connect to wii is off.
If I load game from loader the led is on all the time.

Does the loader send anything out on LAN port during the gameplay ?
Anyone got this problem as well?

Cheers,

edit: Opening usbloader and leave it there for long doesn't start the problem on my switch.
The problem starts when I play game that load from the loader for 5 to 10 mins.

edit2: I connect wii directly to router and the problem is still there.
I just figure out that only wired network is down. The wireless has no problem

Ah, will try that.
What other patches are being applied that need to be undone for it to work?

With no patches it plays fine and lets me save, does that mean I can't use ocarina with it or will you guys be working on a way to just allow one patch at a time and exclude other patches that we previously haven't had control over?
The other patches (patched by both 'On' and 'All') are the return_to_channel patch and the disc in drive check patch used for Hermes' IOS. You can't have any patches on if you want to play the game, and that includes Ocarina patches. It is possible to use Ocarina if you have a USB Gecko, though, as you can properly delay application of the patch until the initial check is already complete. I think somebody was working on a patch to try to delay the application of cheats without a USB Gecko, but I don't know if it ever worked.

I have a gecko, how do I set up cfg to let it delay the patch on just that game and use no other patches?

you could try to connect your wii directly to a pc and capture network traffic with eg wireshark

Dr Clipper I have deleted/installed other games on my usb and then I've deleted the gamelist.txt from usb-loader folder wich cfg 57b5 created. How can I generate a new gamelist.txt now for 57b7?

A slightly off topic question. I compared speeds while copying wbfs files to the same hdd with FAT32/NTFS file systems. It seems that only around 27mb is the max for FAT32 whereas I can hit 33-34mbps transfer rate on NTFS.

Is it normal?

Yes, NTFS can keep small files inside MFT entry, so if the file size is less than cluster size, most likely it will be accessed much faster on NTFS than on FAT.

Generally speaking the performance of NTFS on large volumes is higher than performance of FAT32. NTFS performance on small volumes is lower than performance of FAT/FAT32.

ok. i've been looking around. I followed the install guides and have tried alot of difference things, but no matter what the usb loader freezes at boot. First time install. The wii mote also looses connectivity. when i have it in debug mode, it just a frozen black screen instead of a splash screen. help?

This sounds more like an IOS issue than the loader. Try using the other IOS type (between IOS249/IOS222) to run the game.

I don't know exactly as I don't own one myself, but I do know you need to use OSSleep as the hook type and that there is a specific Ocarina cheat that allows other patches. I think using wiird with the paused start is enough, but I really don't know for sure.

gamelist.txt is recreated whenever you save global settings. Push 1 twice then push 2.

Reinstall IOS249 and IOS222 and try both version 57b7 and 57b7-222 of the loader.
