Leave only the one in sd:/usb-loader and delete the other.

OK! I'll do that!

You were meant to copy the contents of the inSDRoot directory to the SD card, not the directory itself, which is why you have two directories now.

I did copy the "inSDRoot" to the sd card but I could've sworn I didn't copy the entire directory. I must have due to duplicates & I have tinkered with the sd card a lot as well to try & get this corrected. It's hard to tell what I may have done.

The ID is listed on the options page for each game, so just push 1.

I'll try that out again. I tinkered with the GUI but couldn't find it. When the readme states that your covers have to match does that mean letter for letter or number for number? Like say I downloaded the game covers that have as example "RCBE52" for Cabela's Big Game Hunter. Does my game title need to be "RCBE52" as well? I have it named by the game title & not the game cover ID. Does this matter? I know the ones that are showing up aren't matching like this. Thanks!

The images need to be named RCBE52.png or RCBE.png. The game title is something completely separate and shouldn't matter.

That's what I have since I downloaded the .PNG files & didn't change them. I didn't think the game title had to match the cover title. Anyhow, I've deleted the config file you stated & edited the other to match the path from uLoader. We'll see what that does! Thanks!

Edit: Well, a couple of my game covers weren't matching the game ID's. There was ONE letter that was wrong with both of these covers. What would cause that? Is this the game covers or the game ID's fault? I know the game ID's are right because I loaded them from the WiiISORenamer program. It was the cover downloads that were off by one character. I caught that before I even try it out again from the loader. I'll see what happens next from the console. Thanks!

I was having similar problems with my manually downloaded covers not all working... but i fixed it by buying a router so i can download them from within the GUI... oh, well. it's nice to know that I can still get all my covers working the manual way!

Great work as always. The multiple partions is super awesome for me. Thanks.

Can the global gui_transition setting be made into a theme setting, please? Some themes look better with scroll, and others with fade.

Here I am with another possible issue for you to consider. You guys have been able to fix everything I've thrown at you so far, which is why I consider this to be the best loader. Regarding my last issue with the cheat downloader, it was during the download of the .txt file that I received the error, not while trying to launch or save the .gct file. But like you said, that is a very low priority issue. I have one that is more important:

When I'm browsing through games in one of the fancier 3d covermodes (the ones where you can flip the box around and see the full cover, not grid, flow, or flow-z), my screen will freeze with a green bar across it and I have to restart the Wii by holding in the power. At first I couldn't provide any useful information, but this time when it happened, in the background I could see the text
"libpng error: invalid block type
Abort called."

Could this be due to a corrupted image file or something else entirely? I'm going to update from 45b2 to 45 and see if this fixes it, even though I know that shouldn't make any difference.

Very likely a corrupted png image (and/or fat filesystem)
I suggest connecting the disc to your pc, do a filesystem check and look at all the images if they show up correctly.
also maybe check the image file sizes if one of them has an unusual small size or something...

Hey Oggzee,
did you made any changes to the GUI Mode between v44 and v45?

I´m asking because with v45 the text on my covers does flicker a little bit.
I downgraded to v44, no flickering there.

greets, user423

PS: I would make gui_antialias = 2 as default, it looks good AND ist fast too. [4] makes the GUI very slow.

I've got your cfg40 and would just like to thank you for your hard work.
I've downloaded v45 - but 40 working great so will stick to it for now
Cheers.

are there plans for v46 to include disc loading like usbloadergx has? it can now mount the dvd and launch wii and gc discs from inside it so you don't ever have to go to system menu. nice feature and would like in configurable usb loader. also love the banner music feature that was added to this. is there anyway that that could happen as you cycle through the covers instead of when you actually select one? or would it be possible that once you select a cover and the banner sound plays be able to press +/- to toggle through games one to the next? Just wondering.

mgrimmenator:
sorry but none of your suggestions are being worked on for v46, besides all of that is already mentioned in faq.
at the moment i'm working on TODO#32

thanks for the update, i'll check the faq and try to find the issue list.
The issue list is actually only known to oggzee and usptactical. However, I can confirm that TODO #32 (the only one I know of) is awesome.

well, thanks anyways. I can't wait till preloader v5 is released. it has some fixes and enhancements i'm waiting for as well. Also i noticed a bug in the loader and didn't see it in the faq. should i mention it somewhere or not?

what i have noticed is that i have the dol installed to autoboot in preloader. the first time i turn on the wii and boot into usbloader the covers appear a dimmed out black and the cursor is dimmed out black as well. if i press the home button it reboots and corrects everything. not sure why this happens, maybe a timing issue on initial load or something. it has done this for the last several releases. i never mentioned it since i just figured it was a known issue. i did not see it listed in the faq of issues so thought i'd share.
