Hey again, i noticed your nice update in 37B that when you twist the wii remote the covers turn around.
Could you possibly add in future versions the ability to scroll using the wii remote.
For example:
You move the wii remote form left to right, and the covers scroll from left to right, and the amount of "Strength" you put into it is how much they turn.
>--->--->--->-->----

That might be more challenging, since side covers are partially off the screen in some themes. Unless it worked something like coverfloader where you have to press another button while you're doing it.
Well seen as your now twisting the wii Remote to turn over Covers maybe you could make the button thats now Usless Up. The button that previously turned covers over for your idea.
It would be cool though, If you could make a theme for example a "Big wheel" and you could spin it and randomly get a cover.

Is their anyway you could impliment a numchuck into this loader though? As probaly 99.999999% of people with a wii have one.

Hello,

First..... WOW what a nice loader.
Second..... WOW what a fine working loader.

I can't get my textcolor for listing the games in black at the GUI screen.

any 1 want to help me?

I noticed in the latest version 37b2, Boogie no longer works. When selecting alt.dol, it simply says "none on disc". I played it in previous versions, but I am not sure where it went sour

Edit:

Rebooted and tried it again, now alt.dol worked...but it showed up as "ssx.dol". I recall posting about this oddity a awhile back. Any clue? Something is funny here...

thanks for the comments.

From the README-CFG:
# gui_text_color = [black], white, HEX
# Set the text color in GUI mode
# Note: to use a color other than a black or white, it has to be
# represented as a HEX value with the following components: RRGGBBAA
# RR=red, GG=green, BB=blue, AA=alpha
# Example: red = FF0000FF, blue = 00FF00FF, yellow = 00FFFFFF

QUOTE(the @ Jul 24 2009, 02:45 PM) Guys, how about AltDol support, which is available in usb loader gx

Or how you all play games like Mortal Kombat Armagedon?

To enable alt dol for a game, go into options (press 1) and on the Alternative dol line press right and select SD (if it's on the SD) or disk if you want to just read it from the disk.

I just installed Boogie and tried it. You are correct, it shows as ssx.dol - and I don't even have SSX installed
wtf.gif

Anyways, I'm guessing that's just what it was named when they packed up the game.

First let me say that this loader looks dank and I am dying to get it to work, but I am having loader problems. I have gotten my drive to work with Ultimate usb-loader 7.4 running IOS249 and rev 10. I tried this with 249 and rev 13 with no luck. Will trying 222/223 possibly solve my problem? This is what I have gathered from reading, but I am not sure and I don't want to mess anything up on my console.

Keep up the good work!

When making the game, they probably just used their code from SSX to play the initial logos and then boot the main game, and couldn't be bothered to change the filename. The only way to see the name of the file is to extract the .iso, so why bother with a proper naming scheme.

Also, for those still confused about the alt .dol mehod, go here.

And for description of configuration options, like changing gui text colour or any other feature, go here.

Did you put your drive into the correct Wii USB slot? It needs to be in the slot closer to the edge/base of the Wii (bottom or right, depending on orientation, when looking at the back).

If so, IOS 222/223 might help. Go here to get the installation procedure, but use my link for v2.1C of uLoader as the latest versions don't work.

Love the loader, just started using it today. When I go to download covers it'll freeze at random times with no error message. I just have to reboot. It'll get some covers but no particular one locks it up. Any suggestions? 37b2

One of the cover sites seems to be up and down a lot. If it seems like it's freezing, it's probably just timing out. If you let it sit (about 30 seconds) it should resume on its own.

Thanks for that tip. I don't think it's the USB Loader doing it though because it just froze on me in the homebrew channel too. It like locks up and the image is still on the screen. I can even see the cursor still where it was positioned when it locked up. This is a new thing as I've beening using the homebrew channel for a very long time now without it locking up ever.

Guys, I absolutely love this app. Great job to all involved.

I have BootMii, Homebrew Channel, and 3.2U... Is there any way to get the Wii to boot directly to the USB loader?

Also, is there any way to have random music play at startup? I'm getting tired of my Carribean style Mario music. ;-)

Keep up the good work!

Hi there - have just been testing this latest release and have noticed one minor issue - I was wondering if you could replicate it. When I am using coverflow and am just viewing favourites, the covers are not displayed when I switch between the first game, and move left to view the last game in the list (e.g. I have Animal Crossing and press left to go to Wii sports) - all the covers on the right hand side of the selected game (wii sports) turn to hour glasses with no cover displayed. If I switch to displaying all covers I don't get this issue - only when viewing favourites. Thanks.

How many favorites do you have?

I have about 150 games with about 30 favourites at the moment. I also tried making the first and last games in the list (Zack & Wiki, and Alien Syndrome) favourites as well just in case there was something screwy it skipping covers but that didn't make any difference. Let me know if you want me to try ''s with different amounts of favourites etc or if there's any other type of testing you can think of that you'd like me to try. Thanks.

My Wii has 3.2U and cfg v36d. My Wii was working fine with the USBLoader, but I was away for two weeks. I came back today and my hard drive freezes when I try to load a game, freezing the Wii as well.

I turn on my Wii, go to the USB Loader+cfg through a forwarder channel to my SD Card, and it loads fine. It shows all the game covers in that "cool iris" type thing, and when i click on a game, it shows "Start this game?" In light blue writing, and freezes. The HD shows a red light.

My hard drive is a called a "Rock Mobile Disk." 250GB

Looks like this.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about BootMii, but I'm using Preloader and it has an option to boot from a file instead of to the System Menu. If Bootmii has a similar option, you can use Narolez's forwarder (you'll find it on page 1). You can then install this dol file into BootMii (if it allows this). This will then look for the usb-loader dol file on either SD or USB and boot automatically for you. If you want to use the hdd only then you'll need to create a fat32 partition on the hard drive and mark it as active. Then setup your folders for the usbloader as you would on the sd card (dol filer, themese, covers etc).

Nah, BootMii only allows autoboot to the HBC (which is what I do as I want to avoid installing channels). But, as you say, Preloader will allow autoboot to anything, including the .dol found in Narolez' forwarder.

OK thanks. I fixed it.

Think I found a bug:

If you attempt to perform cover downloads without an internet connection the app DSI exceptions. I would never have found this had I not re-modded my system today
