Thanks I have the same issue, it starts up in NTSC and then switches over to PAL mode, don't suppose there is a PAL forwarder anywhere?

Thanks but that does the same & switches from NTSC to PAL, I do have a forwarder that doesn't jump to NTSC first http://www.mediafire.com/?jmnt2nzq1xm but it is a generic one that you set the CFG in the root of the SD to point at whatever app you want, but the graphice leave a lot to be desired.

it came from here http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=114165 first one in the spoiler list, white version.

whoops your last one also banner bricked my Wii after reboot, so you may want to get rid of the download

Whoops, that's a bummer!
Was it really the forwarder's fault?
Should I remove the download link from the first page?

@MadBob
Sorry for the bad PAL-Version!

I've injected the mentioned universal forwarder dol into my forwarder-wad and sent it via PM to you. Please test it.

For me, start directly into the gui without first displaying the console only works if i start 31c via HBC, Preloader or Forwarder. If i use the full channel, linked in the first post, the console is displaying before the gui is shown. With full channel, something is wrong.

How does you start your CFG Loader?

thanks for the reply

i start the channel with a forwarder (a modded version of New Universal Forwarder)
im gonna try starting the CFG Loader from the hbc and see what happens

PS. If someone want the forwarder im using (doesnt switch video modes and doesnt needs a cfg file in the sd)
HERE is the NEW link with souce included

@alejandroues: I'm working on a new forwarder for CFG Loader that can load from SD/SDHC and USB.

The SD-Version is ready, and worked fine for me. Because of using read ahead cache for SD loading, it is very fast.
The USB-Version is not tested yet. I sent it to oggzee for testing. I don't have a FAT partition on my WBFS-HDD.

If anyone want to test the SD/USB-Forwarder, request the download link via PM.

Hi oggzee,

I send just few word report some thing that doesn't work (if I well understood?)

My Wii is in PAL (50Hz) & (16/9)

When I run CFG USB loader v31c in consol mode there is a black strip at the bottom of the screen (roughly 9% of the height)

If I switch in Gui mode the screen is well filled (100% of the height).

It doesn’t matter if I come from the channel forwarder or from the homebrew channel.

If I change the setting to Pal (50Hz) & (4/3) the problem still there. (I think it's normal)

If I change the setting to Pal (60Hz) & (16/9 or 4/3) the problem is NOT there.

I think it's a little miss in your WONDERFULL WORK.

Thank for reading,

Rigouli.

I have that black bar in the bottom too...PAL50...

The "good old Ultimate Loader" had that problem too, I had to use a fixed background with the size 640x528 I think. (Not 100% sure with the size)

No, search for "WAD Channels Updater". Use it to update the Channel. (Works great!)

/edit or you inject a Forwarder .dol in the WAD, works too with the Updater.

Hey Ogg,

I have a quick question maybe some of the coders could help.

How does CFG implement the 002 Fix? The reason I ask is because I was trying to play Burger Island last night with my kids and it Green Screens no matter what I try.

Then I tried it in GX and they have a per game setting that you can specify to use 002 fix and it plays.

In CFG I tried to run using 249 and 222-mload which is what I using on everything else that works. This is the first game that I have tried that runs on something else, but not on cfg.

I have Cios38 249 Ver13B installed. Besides the reload issue, where you have to reset wii after playing I haven't had any other problems.

On configurable I always use 222-mload and then use 223-mload on Rock-Band type games and it works perfectly.

Any advise?

Thanks,

cfg v31c (bug fixes / minor improvements)

- cIOS 249 rev13 - 002 fix (by WiiPower)

Do you think this causes problems on 222-mload? Maybe that's what is happening to me on Burger Island, I get 002 eror.

Thanks new version works great.

Can you add support for multiple WBFS partitions ?

In uloader you can switch between multiple partitions but it would be nicer if the games from all partitions were merged into one list.

I'd settle for switching between partitions though if the merged list was too much of a pain in the arse to code.

Of course the two possibilities suggest another config option

Great loader, works very well for me.

Can you check if it works with the cfg loader version 31 (without c)
Then we'll know if that fix is the cause of the problems with Burger Island.

Hi, I just wanted to say that this is my favorite loader so far, but there's just one thing I have a question about.

Maybe it's just me being stupid or something, but holding power on the wii remote in game takes me back to the system menu. I understand this is probably intended, but seeing as this is supposed to be configurable, is there a way I can just make it power the system off? It's kind of bugging me...

Still, thanks for all the hard work.
