try the other usb portIcebreaker321 said:Drive is still active(blinking) and a press on the reset button jumps back to hbc "instant".oggzee said:[+] Booting Wii game, please wait...Icebreaker321 said:SM4.0E with Hermes 222 as default = crash

The systemmenu is patched with waninkokos 4.0 upgrader.
Im useing the Hermes cios installer 1.6 package from the uloader 1.8E. USBloader+CFG v31a
Loading cios222 and 223 from uloader works flawless.
Maybe that helps to solve the issue.
Thanks, that's a very informative bug report![]()
Can I ask if you can write down the stack trace numbers, in the crash screen, at least the first 3.
Or if you take a picture of the crash screen and post it somewhere or send it to me ([email protected])
There is no Stack dump. it freezes with following message:
CODE[+] Booting Wii game, please wait...
IOS 222 (m-load) or
CODE
IOS 223 (m-load)
I'm useing a Toshiba HDD 500GB with 2 primary partitions. 1st is fat32 2nd is wbfs.
Haven't tried v31aa yet. Will try it this afternoon.
The Problem is:Bronzodiriace said:I have installed - IOS 202 --> using IOS 36
- IOS 222 --> using IOS 36
- IOS 223 --> using IOS 37 merged with IOS 36
with dol installation.
With Uloader 1.8 the lan adapter works perfectly [i tried cod 5]
SDUSB-Loader_cfg31at hat you have linked doesn't recognize my Hard Disk [is on usb 0].
If i put off lan adapter from usb 1, SDUSB-Loader_cfg31a recognize the Hd.
The same thing for Uniloader.
Only Uloader works perfectly
1. Version 1.4 from Waninkoko is outdated.Viper98 said:[...]
so what i'm wondering, is there some sort of limit on how large of a HDD is supported by this?
Narolez said:The Problem is:
The CFG loader uses ios 249 to detect harddisk at startup, the configured ios 223 will only used when you start a game.
Uloader uses ios 223 for harddisk detection at startup. This is the difference. With ios 249 some hdd's will not be detected when a lan adapter or other usb device is plugged in.
@oggze: can you try a version with ios 223 on startup?
cool you are on fire bro , sweet baby sweet , you know sometimes you make me wonder where are we going with this crazy @ss work of yoursoggzee said:Narolez said:The Problem is:

That is correct.
I will try and make a version that reloads ios before initializing the drive, or maybe make a separate binary that uses ios 223 by default, or both![]()

cfg v31b: (beta)Orazal said:Same Here if I have something plugged in into usb1 Drive is not found.
Can you try the latest 31b version and add ios=223-mload (or ios=222-mload) to your config.txt
It will now use the specified ios before initializing the drive.

Changes:
- GUI: New style: "grid flow"
To change gui style mode use button up when in 4 rows mode
or button down when in 1 row mode
- GUI: Animated transition between rows change and style change
- Fixes to IOS 222-mload/223-mload
- If custom IOS is specified, load it before storage device init
- Added game loading progress indication when using custom IOS

I tried
SDUSB-Loader_cfg31a
Usb loader gx
Uniloader and always the same problem. [30 second to detect the hard disk and come back to HBC]
with Uloader, all works perfectly
Please try 31b and put ios=223-mload (or ios=222-mload) to your config.txt
