SM4.0 = System Menu?
Does uLoader by hermes work with cios 222/223 ?
If it that doesn't work on your system then cfg loader probably won't as well.

Hey Oggzee,

Just wanted to say great work and thank you. V31 on 4.0U with Cios 249,202, 222, and 223 all Working great!

The theme switching is working great too. To tell you the truth, this is my favorite and best working loader I have tried. Its the one I use all the time and have set up for my kids to use.

I find that is has the best compatibility with all the games I throw at it.

I got the one from uloader 1.6 not sure if any difference in 1.8 that you posted last night , but I'll check it out and post back

Im useing the Hermes cios installer 1.6 package from the uloader 1.8E. USBloader+CFG v31a
Loading cios222 and 223 from uloader works flawless.

Maybe that helps to solve the issue.

Can I ask if you can write down the stack trace numbers, in the crash screen, at least the first 3.
Or if you take a picture of the crash screen and post it somewhere or send it to me ([email protected])

Im useing the Hermes cios installer 1.6 package from the uloader 1.8E ....... just for cIOS223 with the mentioned combinations of install !! = crash .
loading cIOS222 from kwiirk = success .
I'm not sure if keeping kwiirk cIOS222 and trying Hermes cIOS223 should have any conflict ?

it's not a stack dump , it's freezing at loading IOS222 screen in all 3 cases

First time posting, but I have been using Configurable USB Loader since v17 or so and love it.

I also can't get Hermes' IOS222/223 to work and it sounds like the crashes others are having. I have a 3.2E Wii and had previously only installed HBC and cIOS rev 10. I used the cIOS loader in the file you linked to install 202 with IOS36, 222 with IOS36 and 223 with IOS37 merged with IOS36. No matter what I try, the loader hangs when attempting to start the game. It just says:

[+] Booting Wii game, please wait...

IOS 223 (m-load)

The Wii Remote also powers down immediately and the only way to continue is to reset the console.

uLoader 1.8 also works fine when selecting 222 and 223.

Ok, I've managed to reproduce the problem if I use a USB thumb drive.
It works for me if I use a real USB HDD.
And it works if I use uLoader with the USB thumb drive.
So, I can start looking into what's the problem!

Can those that experienced freezes with cios222/223 let me know:
- what drive do you use? (external hard drive, thumb drive)
- how many partitions are on that drive?

In my case i have 2 partitions on usb thumb drive (fat and wbfs)
and only 1 wbfs partition on usb hdd drive.
Not sure yet if it's related or not...

I use an external Verbatim 1TB hard drive with two partitions. The WBFS partition is 250GB and is the first partition on the drive. The remainder is FAT32.

yes my friend this one did it

, and that's the setup :
*---*cIOS36_rev10=249 works a treat .
*---*kwiirk =222 works a treat .
*---*hermes = 37+36 =223 works a treat .
no freezing what so ever with some games like De Blop

by the way , be sure if you are using Hermes 222/223 that the USBDrive is connected to the bottom USB port if you plug it to the top one it will hang
