QUOTE(oggzee @ Dec 31 2010, 06:57 PM) Yes the frag module is loaded always if possible even if it's not used later.
FIX94 said:At first big sorry for the double post, here is the next forwarder update:
The forwarder is now in v7!
Changes:
-Re-added InitVideo
-Added NTFS support, it's stable
-Will go back to system menu if the dol file not found, in previous versions the wii simply crashed![]()
-Can now show code dumps, in previous version a code dump was there, but not displayed![]()
Download:
USBLoaderCFG - UCXF - IOS58 v7.wad
USBLoaderCFG - UCXF - IOS58 v7 Alternative.wad
try to go in sd:/apps/ and rename as usbloader_cfg the folder containing the Configurable boot.dolhatchmt said:So, I don't know what version of the forwarder I was on before, but it used to work great. After applying version 7 of the forwarder, the system just goes back to the system menu after I select 'start'. No messages. Just about two seconds of black screen before I'm taken back. Not sure what I could've done wrong -- I installed USBLoaderCFG - UCXF - IOS58 v7.wad using wad manager. Is this something that others have seen, and if so, what was done to correct it? The Configurable USB Loader itself (v62) works fine from HBC, so it's just the forwarder that isn't working properly on my system. I did some quick browsing and didn't find anyone else mentioning this, so I thought I'd ask.
You don't need to set any of the path options, you can just move the whole /usb-loader from sd to ntfs on usb.GolfDude said:im testing out my new NTFS drive, and i changed the config file so everything leads to the NTFS1 partition, it pulls up my bg music fine, but wont pull up the box arts.. any idea why?

trying to redownload the covers via the loader causes the loader to code dump (63b2)
if possible!cambric said:I see...oggzee said:Yes the frag module is loaded always if possible even if it's not used later.
actually, if the frag module is always loaded then it is unuseful showing [FRAG] in the startup screen since it gives no information...
Thank you very much for your awesone job...

Sounds like you don`t have IOS58, use this:hatchmt said:So, I don't know what version of the forwarder I was on before, but it used to work great. After applying version 7 of the forwarder, the system just goes back to the system menu after I select 'start'. No messages.
Ok now it is clear...oggzee said:if possible!
It's not always possible to load the frag module - if waninkoko ios is rev17 or less and hermes ios is rev3 or less.
But yeah i could just remove that info as all it does is confuse people.
You're right, that would be more clear, but i'll just leave it as is for now.GolfDude said:what about for channel creation, do i tell crap partition=ntfs or ntfs1?
yes partition selection is like this:
partition=NTFS1
You can see in the partition selection screen how a partition is named and how the mount point is named.
QUOTE(cambric @ Jan 1 2011, 03:01 PM) Ok now it is clear...
just an idea to let everybody understand:
if waninkoko ios is rev17 or less and hermes ios is rev3 or less then write in the startup screen something like "WBFS only access"
otherwise show something like "FAT32/NTFS/EXT3 access enabled"
of course, this is just a two cent idea...
thanks for your awesome job,
cambo

I've always used Hermes and not had problems with it, so I currently use the cfg-222 builds. Would it be possible to clarify the current cios recommendations for cfg in the first post?
