The new feature to download the titles is great, but it doesn't work here. The file that is written to the SD card is named gameslist.txt and not read by the loader when i rename that file to titles.txt is does read the file. Before testing i did clear the old files so that can't be the problem.
That is not the downloaded titles.txt, but just a list of the games you have installed. It's there just as a convenience if you want to get the list of games, or can be used as a base for titles.txt if you want to edit it further.

How do i do this?

Also thanks for this great loader which continually astounds me . . .

Cheers

Yes, that function comes from uLoader.

Save your global settings.

Thanks oggzee, I can now access both partitions on my 1.5TB drive.

334 games on WBFS1 (A-L, 499.7GB), and 384 games on WBFS2 (M-Z, 686.5GB).

You rock!

Thanks for the confirmation

I don't think it'd have the entire collection of Wii (& or GameCube) games even on a 10+ Terabyte drive.

You know that you say "yes" and "no" at the same time with this?
But it is correct

Well, your question was ambiguous to begin with, as it depends on whether you meant Hermes the person or Hermes's IOS? In the former case yes, Hermes has the fix in form of a patch in uLoader, in the latter case if you mean his IOS, then I would assume it doesn't as otherwise what would be the point of adding the patch to uLoader, also the patch seems to be always called and is not IOS version and release dependent, at least that much i concluded from his sources.

oggzee has me pegged. I was talking about Hermes, the person. I never even considered that you may have only been referring to the IOS, WiiPower.

I seriously doubt there's even a tenth of those that are worth playing and not just shovelware party games.

We have just over 100 and there is only about half a dozen that get played regularly.

Some haven't been played at all yet.

Hermes included the fix in uloader, not in his cIOS. I think he actually had the opposite stance as you from what I've read, that he puts all the fixes in the loader and not in the cIOS. I believe he does this for updating reasons so it wouldn't be necessary to update the cIOS as often since the loader already gets updated fairly regularly.

Okay, I thought I fixed the wbfs error by re-ripping/redownloading games, but this is ridiculous.

First, four games that were loading perfectly fine (and loading their disc channel jingles) suddenly gave me the following errors: "wbfs error: not a wii disc" and "wbfs error: file not found"

The four games were Twilight Princess, Wario Ware, Mario Kart, and Muramasa. Now, since the first three of those games were ripped from my very own discs which I had played to death, I though the problem was that they were old and scratched up, resulting in an imperfect rip. However, those backups had worked perfectly with CFG before. Nevertheless, I downloaded new copies, delted the old ones, and installed them onto the drive. They work fine now.

Suddenly, a different game gives me the errors! Big Brain Academy. Again, I simply redownloaded and reinstalled to solve the problem. I still didn't have any clue why a game that worked fine before would suddenly stop working. I figured the detection of a bad disc had simply been improved.

It happened again, and this time it wasn't from a disc that was scratched or old, so I simply ripped from the disc again and solved the problem.

Now yet another game is giving me the first error (of course the second was just the missing jingle, and that error message has been removed with the latest update) and I don't want this to happen again.

Is there something wrong with my hard drive? My partition? Why would a game that works suddenly not work?

IxthusTiger:
These: "wbfs error: not a wii disc" and "wbfs error: file not found"
Are most probably just because the banner sound can't be found, if you press button A the game should play anyway, if the banner sound is the only problem. I guess i need to hide the first message as well.

the games didn't load either, I get a black screen.

if it is as you say, why would the banner sound be detected and play fine, then later not be detected? is there something wrong with my hard drive?

I didn't even know there were that many Wii games out there... and either you are insanely addicted to buying Wii games or you must work at a store that sells/rents Wii games. :-)

With all that said, you what, play like 5 or 10 of them at most.

According to all my searching, there are about 725 unique, released, English language Wii games. I have 719 English language games and am looking for 21 missing games, most of them being educational. How does that math work? There are a lot of custom made games for Guitar Hero, Sing It, etc. and some English hacks for non-English games. People may think that there are more released games thatn that, but they'd be wrong; many, many games (over 50) are released in Europe/USA/Australia under different names, but are the same exact game, like Big League Sports and World Championship Sports, both being the same exact game. Then there are the shovelware games that get re-released with different names on the box, but are same exact junk in a new wrapper. A good example is Monster Trux/Monster Trux - Special Edition/Monster Trux Arenas/Monster Trux Arenas - Special Edition. All are the same exact game.

And to answer that question, there are probably about 50 really good games for the Wii, and I play about 15! I own 22, which include the 15 I actually play!
