Have the code from Wiipower (which is supposed to increase stability) been implemented in this release ?
I hope the occasional lag in game (and even lockup) can be fixed by this.
No it's not in and no that would not solve any lags in game it would only help prevent possibility of loader crash.

I experience no loader crash from this loader. Well done!

Hope, in the near future, the support of the new ehcmodule.elf can fix the lag problem.

Are you using the new Hermes new v3? Because if this is the case, I have experienced the "lag" once or twice (using cIOS222v3, default install, no ehcmodule). I think when the new ehcmodule is accepted by the loader the stability will be on par with Uloader and this cIOS.

Great work on the text improvements: much clearer, not off the bottom of the screen, and better outline/shadow config.

I think the gui text might need some auto-centering for when the game page/page_total at the right gets large, like 100/100, since the text starts going way off the right side of the screen when using a large font (anything larger than the 13b font).

BTW, color_hddinfo isn't anywhere in README-CFG.txt

HEllo.

Thats a cISO with Snes9x GX v.4.0.9 emulator
new.gif
.
Games goes into SD, DVD or FAT32 partition.
Game ID: SNES9X (Cover snes9x.png)
Now you have 3 options to load a apps, HBC, Channel and now usb-loader image

Download

PD:Sorry if thats not the correct thread
Sr Corsario

Doesn't work, it just gives a code dump...!!
wacko.gif

It works on my wii. Anyone else have problems with it?
I can't copy it with my WBFS Manager.
If I rename it to .iso it won't get copied and if I try to copy the .ciso it just is getting ignored (it won#t get listed).
It's a cISO file (compressed ISO) the same size as the ISO would be in WBFS, so renaming it won't work. You have to use "WBFS Intelligent GUI v6" (not WBFS Manager) to transfer cISO files to the WBFS partition. Google is your friend.

Alright, thanks a lot. I'll give it a try.

Edit: It's working great. => No code dump at all.
Do you've a nice cover for it, too?

Edit2: It would be also great if you could make a ciso of FCEU GX and VBA too. =)

You'd have to have something like 500 games to get 100 pages... Here's a workaround: Stop Pirating.

The hdd_info is the footer. Use color_footer to change it.

A small question about the font thing.

How to use different fonts?
What setting in config or theme.txt
How to make a font .png (tips tricks)

http://gwht.wikidot.com/configurable-options (search for "font" and "text" in that page)

As for how to make one, you can use WiiBuilder, but it only really works for fixed width, non-italic fonts.

I found a sad bug in cfg39.

If I boot Super Smash Bros. Brawl with cIOS38 rev14, it's not recognizing my SD card anymore.
But, if I boot it with cIOS222 (36merge) or cios223(37merge) v3 of hermes, it's working.

Before cfg39, it worked with cios38 rev14.

Is it possible that that's a problem of the loader? - It just can't be cIOS38 rev14 and my SD card (because everything is working fine, except when I boot a game which has the possibility to use my SD card).

It seems that there is a new bug with cIOS rev14 that encounters a problem with sd/hc cards while starting a game.

btw.: my sd card is not a sdhc one, it's just 2gb and FAT formated.

I hope this bug will get fixed.
thanks for cfg39 and your great work, cfg_loader-team.

Edit: Just tried it and my result is, that:
It's definitely a bug of cfg39!
With cfg38 and even(!) cfg39b every of my games will detect my sd card; just cfg39 won't.
Please fix it, oggzee.

@usptactical:

A member at another forum has a request for a new coverflow mode, and it sounds sort of handy:

I'd also like to add that I want to see a theme that displays all games as if they were lined up on a shelf, like DVD cases, with the spines facing towards you. Then have the ability to click a spine and the game come out of the shelf, allowing you to view the cover.

As much as I like the image management, the constant use of front on views makes it always seem a little bit more cluttered than it should be. Spine viewing would be a great way to organise.

This could be a possibility, right? Just have the spines displaying next to each other, like coverflow3D but without the central camera-facing game, and probably have the spines closer together or just fully touching each other. Selecting a game takes you to the console version already where you see the front boxart, so it seems it would work out as another interesting view.

Thanks,

cursor = pointer.png
is the only thing I could find at the option page you recommended.
Is it then something like :
font = font8.png?

If you want to use a different font, copy & paste it from sd:/usb-loader/resources to sd:/usb-loader/ and rename it to font.png.

You missed this:

QUOTEOther Images

The GUI has several other images that can be changed by adding files to either the theme or base directories. See the full zip of Configurable USB Loader for examples. The following files are allowed:
Filename: Description
favorite.png: icon that appears on favourites
pointer.png: mouse pointer, the point should be at the centre
hourglass.png: picture displayed while covers load
font.png: allow changes of characters within the font for GUI text

Another question: I just tried to find a converter, that converts my .iso to a .ciso. So I could easily change my main.dol with the boot.dol of the app I want and than convert it to a size that's passable.
But, is it possible to easily convert a file to a ciso? I thought WiiScrubber is able to do that, but it seems that it isn't.
Edit: Oh crap, double posting. I'm sorry!
