I have an old '04 Gateway computer with an Intel Graphics Chip... it struggles to play Halo 1. I want a new computer so I can play games like Obivion and Fallout 3... but my budget is tight. My parents can't afford a 3000 dollar computer... any suggesions?

if you have a decent knowledge about computer hardware you can build one a lot cheaper, check this website newegg.com

my $500 custom rig handles oblivion fine. my parts are probably only worth about $400 now so you can get great stuff for cheap. Don't look for Crysis quality though!

Buy a cheap graphics card. You're saying that it's struggling to play Halo 1 because it's using the Intel graphics chip, so just upgrade that portion and you won't need to buy a $3000 computer.
