    I Was installing windows 7 on vista
    and i got this mean boot message during the installation:
    what does it mean
    spelt title wrong

    I found this thread on the internets about the same error. It seems the person had the same issue as you and that thread helped him fix it.


    You should really do it using the boot menu.

    i found out i could log on vista but its very unstabble

    Did you install windows through boot menu or by os?

    Don't even need to backup anything if you do a "custom install". It'll turn the old Windows into windows.old, throw the Documents and Program Files folders in it, then make a new set.

    0x0000007B seems to be the start of the Memory, try formatting, if it didn't work then it may be an issue with the Motherboard, this may be caused of a very dangerous virus or malware that entered 0x0000007B.
    I Recommend Avira AntiVirus as a first and last choice anti virus, it is really very powerful.

    i managed to fix it
    instead of the upgrade option i used the custom option
