So I just bought a used New Nintendo 3DS XL from a guy on Craigslist today. I am extremely interested in installing custom software to allow me freeshop access and the ability to download game ROMs and play them because I'm a cheap bastard and a pirate. That said, my firmware version is 11.5-something. Am I screwed? Can I still install this stuff?
I haven't owned a game console or portable game device since the original XBox and I modded the crap out of it as well as older consoles. I'm behind the times but not retarded. If someone could help a brother out it would be greatly appreciated!
