Hi Hatchetball! You can jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 (or 4.3.3!) with redsn0w (Mac download, Windows download).

redsn0w's a bit different from greenpois0n, since you have to download the IPSW of whatever firmware your iPod touch has. As stated in the guide, you can find free, legal links to these IPSWs on The iPhone Wiki.
The IPSW's were in .zip's and I assume already extracted from the IPSW? As none of the files I downloaded end with .ipsw
So far... pointless :/ so much trouble for a jailbreak.
A actual guide of what to do (that makes sense, no haxor-lingo) would be nice.
Wish greenpois0n would have made a update of 4.3.2

Honestly this makes no damn sense to me.

Some browsers tend to change file extensions, unfortunately. You want the IPSW file; if your browser gave it a ".zip" extension, change it to the ".ipsw" extension.

Once you give redsn0w the IPSW, it's actually quite straightforward. Just hit Next and leave the options be (the guide explains what each option is, but not all of them appear for each device). It'll tell you to turn off the iPod, and offer steps to enter DFU Mode.

Indeed you are correct. As well, I was trying to figure out if it was a 3G or 4G 4.3.2 - So I downloaded both IPSW's. Several attempts of the 3G version lead to me trying the 4G version. 4G version jailbroke it on the first try :|

Thank you for your help

iFaith by iH8sn0w has been released. It can save shsh blobs from a device running a certain firmware, even if Apple isn't signing that firmware anymore.

You can get it here

Yup, I'll probably be doing the write-up soon.

...If by "soon" I mean 2 weeks after my finals exams.

I had my ipod jailbroken on 3.1.3 using spirit. Now, i restored and updated to 4.2.1 (restored), and tried to jailbreak with Greenpois0n rc6.

MY IPOD WONT GO INTO DFU NO MATTER WHAT.

Tried on two diff computers, one with and one without iTunes.

Please help, im so annoyed that im on the verge of crying.

Everytime I attempt DFU, my iPod just boots normally. (I know I've got the correct timing)

I have an iPod Touch 2g MC.

Ive done it many times on other devices, from 2nd gen ipods to an iPhone 4.

Are the buttons in working condition?
Don't forget, with the device plugged in, you hold the home and power buttons for 10 seconds (display turns off at 7), and then you left go of the power button, and keep holding the home until your computer recognizes it.
This isn't dependent of the computer (and whether it has iTunes or not), DFU is a basic function included in the bootrom. All devices have it. But not all devices have functional buttons....

I also have the latest version 4.3.3

Thanks

Well, iOS 5.0 will require a restore, regardless of your jailbreak status.

I say go for it.

I forgot to point this out a few days ago. With iOS 5.0, Apple will unfortunately put an end to the SHSH replay attack. (Saving SHSHs will become a thing of the past, since we may no longer be able to.) So get saving your 4.3.3 SHSHs now.

I want to unlock my iphone 3gs because it is locked for telus and I want to change the carrier.
The thing is I don't understand when they say; NEVER update/restore your iPhone, unless you're using a custom IPSW.

What does it mean?
If I have a problem can I restore it?
If there is a noteworthy update can I update it?
