Has anyone used the comic book ds successfully to view manga, and do you know if it is intuitive enough to use it as your primary way of reading manga/comic books?

Thanks.

BTW, if you don't know what I'm talking about you can find it here, http://gnese.free.fr/NDS/ComicBookDS/#download.

Everybody into DS homebrew knows what ComicBookDS is!

It's great. I used it to read all the Heroes comics, didn't have a problem with it. Although I think if you used it for your main source of comic book reading it'd take some of the joy out of it it. The Heroes comics weren't very long.

IPK is the converted format for moonlight's "imageviewer app.

It hasnt been updated in a while, but it's a great app that lets you view slideshows, listen to a song while playing (you must name the song Imgview.mp3) etc.

Comicbook DS is great too, i'd say it's better for comics/manga reading than imageviewer, which is better for slideshows etc.

Unfortunately the small size of DS screens make them less than ideal for viewing, but CBDS makes the best of it.

Oh ok. I might check that one out too at some point.

I just started using Comicbook DS today to read the Heroes comics. I'm liking it so far. I probably look at the comics in more detail because of the small screen lol, so I guess it does have its advantages.

It's a very polished app

Go there : http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/ to find how to do it.
Or more specifically, it needs something called a "DLDI patch" put on to work with your cart. (Tutorial and more info)

I did that and it's still not working. I patched it with the alt and the regular DLDI for hte m3 sd...

This really sucks, bah.

Edit: I patched it seperately and did it twice and it didn't work both times. I'm going to try editing it with both at the same time now

Edit again: Edited the file with just the regular dldi, the m3sd_alt.dldi and both at once.

nothing is working!

My only hope now is to find someone who uses comic book ds with a m3 sd and doesn't mind sending me their file.

Also, if it makes a difference my card is formatted in fat32
