uh, no. If you're having trouble with PictoDS, you're kinda screwed. CBDS only accepts .cbds files. How is it giving you trouble? Cause if you have your file paths correct and you're just trying to convert a cbz or cbr, you shouldn't have any trouble...

Not sure what to tell you... Java doesn't open up for me at all.

Maybe you need to update Java?

umm whats that?
Depending on which OS you have you'll need to get one of the following...

.NET 2.0 Redistributable:
(x86) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...DD-AAB15C5E04F5
(x64) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...FB-40E78D788B00

.NET 3.5 Redistributable:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...d9-0041345b3385

Windows XP comes with .NET 2.0, so if you're on Windows XP you'd need 3.5
Windows Vista/7 comes with .NET 3.0/3.5, so if you're on Windows Vista/7 you MAY need 3.5

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
