Sorry if this thread is stupid but i'm going to ask anyway.

Whats so good abiut code? What can i do with it? Why should i learn it? What is the most useful code?
I just want to know what is the best code to use? Or what can i do with code and what type of code do i do it with.

Give examples of things you can do and what type of code you do it with.

    Uh, exactly what "code?"

There are many types of code with many different uses. You can't really place it all under a single use. To put it in perspective:

    The internet = Code
    Games you play = Code
That OS on your cellphone = Code
That crappy $1 game on your cellphone = Code

    etc.

There is no most useful code either. C++ is fairly common at this point as the big programming language. People like to start with Python because it is easier to work with for beginners and is a little more noob friendly in the long run. Your question still sucks.

Good lord. You can do just about anything with code if you know how to use it and know how to use the right type of code. It seems like you are asking for the end all coding language, and it doesn't exist.

Game creation is generally an investment. You have to spend money to make money, and then you risk it not being worth your time while taking a loss.

Best not to learn IOS first, start with either Python or Java is my recommendation.

You aren't making an IOS game then. Regardless, you were trying to start too big anyways.

lol you're not making money with code right away. You'll be lucky to make money with code at all until you are pretty damn proficient in a language that can be used to offer services. Seriously, you have a better chance of making money off of a lemonade stand then you do with non-existent coding skills.

You need a long lesson on what programming is, what skills it requires, the various programming languages etc. before you even think about writing any code. You don't even know what an SDK is yet. Basically what you're doing is "I have an idea and want to make money from it, I just need to learn how to program." That's like saying "I want to be a musician, I just need to learn how to play an instrument." There's a lot more to programming than just "I want to make this appear on a screen."

Sure, you can start with freeware, but don't expect anyone to use it immediately. Programming is a skill that can take years before you start produce anything that someone would find remotely useful.

At uni, I started with Processing before moving on to Java. I still can't produce anything worthwhile but I am enjoying it.

EDIT: As a quick side note, the programming language you start with isn't all that important. Just pick one and go with it. In the future if you decide to learn a different programming language, it won't be all that difficult because most languages more or less work the same.
