I know what yo mean but it is really personal preference and depends on the quality of your burner/disk/burning software. reading through the forums there is no clear best way to do it, just use some trial and error on your part and take some suggestions from people who know what they are talking about and do what works for you.

Well honestly I've only burned one game, which is Call Of Duty WaW. Right now im in the process of downloading Disaster: Day Of Crisis. I burned WaW at 2x and theo nly problem i have is the voices in the game sometimes gets cut off, or the screaming germans sound like chipmunks lol. But it happens everyone once in a while and its not annoying. But I burned at 2x because people told me that burning at a slow speed allows everything to be accurately written.

no burning at 2x damages the wii laser, search through gbatemp, youll find people that did tests, the best way to burn is half of what media max is, but definetly do more than 4x except for dvd-r dl, and dont use crappy media like memorex, or maxell or whatever, stick to verbatim,m ridata g05, or toi yawl or whateve its called, i use verbatim dvd-r, always burn at 16x, and after 300+ games, not a single coaster, not a single error in game, tho i also use modchip...all in all, dont burn at slow pace, it damages the wii laser
