Gaming CoD: Black Ops worth a try?

is CoD: Black Ops worth a try even if i don't like FPS? maybe this game will change my mind about FPS games...
my internet connection is slow and takes hours before i can download a rom... so i just want to know if it's worth playing before i start to download the game...

P.S. no flaming please?

I can't play FPS..I get terrible motion sickness
sucks for me...there's a lot of FPS I want to play..but I can't

But if I can, Black Ops would be at the top of the list

well...I haven't played black ops on ds but experience tell us that FPS games on ds are mostly meh...

but this one has online...

btw,is the online like the other formats where you unlock stuff and level up?

YouTube dood. That's how I do it, and it only takes like almost an hour to download a large rom on your connection..

Just like what other people said, look up reviews on the game and see what other people think about it. Also watch movies on the game play so you have an idea of what you will be playing.

Side note: Another game for the Wii that is a FPS that really impressed me was Golden Eye 007. That game will also help you decide what you think about FPS games. Imo, Golden Eye was better than CoD BO.

I'd pick Goldeneye 007 than CoD : BO for Wii anyday. Also, DS FPS are kinda bad, best was probably CoD : World at War or Modern Warfare.

Like its been said before you will just get peoples opinions. If you generally dont like FPS on DS, black ops wont change your mind. I too hate FPS on DS, but love some COD on PC.

All you can do is research reviews / youtube gameplay.

i thought CoD: Black Ops can change my mind about FPS on DS coz i loved the CoD: Modern Warfare on pc...
IMO FPS on DS sucks...

FPS' blow on DS, and...Black Ops is probably the worst. But for some reason, I actually sort of enjoyed Metroid Prime. It's not the greatest, but it's not the worst FPS on the DS either.

Everyone has their own opinions, and this game wasnt that great. It is fun, but FPS games dont belong on the DS.

True. The graphics on the DS aren't good enough for CoD: Black Ops. And the controls are just "awkward."
