Hacking Cobra ODE PS2 question.

I have a hardware backwards compatible PS3 and I was wonder if the Cobra ODE allowed for the playing of PS2 Isos off of an external HDD instead of having to have it on internal storage. I just don't have much room on my internal storage for my PS2 Isos.

Any help is much appreciated.

Plays from external only> And yes it will play both PS1 and 2 img files
