Close my account?

Hello, I've been wanting to know if ther was a way I could close my account so it doesn't appear in search engines?

(I'm wanting to start my own portfolio, and I'd like to have as few links as possibles mentioning something other that my website).

You can deny guests, including bots access to your profile via your User Control Panel. Apart from that wouldn't a simple name change be the most effective solution?
