I’ve deleted my YouTube account.
From now on, my main hub will be my website, where I’ll continue sharing everything related to my projects and my work.

Time is valuable, and I’d rather focus on development and the forums I use to keep up with news, instead of spreading myself across platforms I don’t really need.

For images and GIFs, I’ll be using imgbb, which is quick, simple, and perfect for what I need.

Less noise, more focus.
Anyone who wants to follow what I’m doing already knows where to find me.

Congrats!

Even on the consuming side of YouTube, having an account really isn't necessary if you make use of frontends like Invidious and Piped (dead), as well as clients like NewPipe and FreeTube. On top of these solutions, if you just need a way to download a video, of course, there's yt-dlp.

There are a myriad of ways to host videos, especially videos short in length, so I'm confident you won't regret it.

I've been following your turrican game cannot wait to play it! Turrican is such a hidden gem that a lot of gamers don't know about. The only downside of youtube is that most people have already fled to the platform already so its hard to get views. I recommend youtube though as you can get exposure for your turrican game out there it may take some time but its well worth it. Another idea is you can also try Kick as its a relatively new platform for posting videos. Either way I will be sure to follow your projects!!

Thanks so much for the support, it really means a lot!About YouTube — I actually deleted my account, and right now I’m not really looking for visibility. I make my projects because I enjoy creating them, plain and simple. If visibility comes someday, great; if it doesn’t, that’s totally fine too. It’s not what I’m aiming for.

What matters to me is having fun and working on things I’m passionate about. And of course, it’s always awesome to know someone out there is following my projects!
