I'll always love the SSI RPGs.
For me, it all started with them (Champions of Krynn in particual)
I played all of the Forgotten Realm, Krynn Saga and the Savage Frontier games.
I also loved Stonekeep (the pixies song is cool....I'd rather be a dwarf) ^^

well if you want turnbased combat id say Grandia 2 and 3 are reli good u dont see it praised much around gbatemp but its reli awsome u should check it out.
