I like it! it's cheap and light, works well and feels nice. I like the D-pad better than the cube one.
It's fantastic as a SNES pad.
Not being tethered to the Wii console is also nice.

So yeah I like it.
I hardly use mine though as I don't play many VC games at the moment.
I'm still glad I got it though.

I'm going to stick with my GC controllers until there's a VC game that I want and I neec the CC.

seeing as you can't use N64/SNES/NES etc controllers, the classic is definetly needed. it works great as a snes pad as shtonkalot said, and for street fighter 2, well it's p e r f e c t

Can you use Gamecube controllers to play all the Virtual console games? The manual isn't very clear. I can pick up a free gamecube controller from work =) i doubt I'll play VC games much, so it'd be nice not to have to pay for the extra controller! I consider bad controlling a big part of old games

So far, you can play all the VC titles with the GC controller and some you can play even with the Wiimote.

That's great ty =) Have just noticed that the VC controller is only tethered to the Wiimote not the Wii like a GC controller is =) But I think I will see how we get on with a GC controller and then think about the VC... VCs are exactly much but they are more than free

so then wait. We got Wii dumps. After all the region-free and homebrew are figured out, I'm sure someone will divert their attention to dumping VC games. Until then, (if then ever comes) wait for nintendo to dump the games onto the shop channel, as they take FOREVER to come out with new ones! So far only 2 N64 games! ITS A DISGRACE!
