We tried on 10.1, 9.2 and 9.0.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

They didn't do a 9.2 thing, as it crashes on 9.2 and 9.0 too.
so doesn't exactly answer my question lol. but I assume from your response their needs to be a version for each fw. correct ? or if you have to change certain pieces of code for it to work for higher fws/different fws

Not yet. There is still work to be done.

You said it can run code on 9.2 (and I guess lower firmwares, too) in his actual state. Is yet determined why is that happening? (why is not working on 9.3+?) No need to go into detail, a yes/no will do but if you care to explain technically it would be really welcome.

It should work on any FW, what they're saying is that they tried on 9.0 & 9.2 to test if he was just getting the basic framework in place, on a system FW that it would definitely work on.

interesting... sounds like it's more than fw at work here then?

TuxSH is saying that it's currently unstable and doesn't work on all systems, menuchunkhax2 doesn't have anything to do with FW directly, it would just allow access to the service that is used to install FW.

thank you for clarifying :)

I'm testing on a 9.2 2DS and a 10.1 O3DSXL. Not hardmonned, there shouldn't be any risk of bricking atm. Oh, and yeah, you need the latest ctrulib.

Atm, it's working for only 1 or 2 two of us.
So wait, it's just random? Like, here works, here doesn't? Or does it work only on specific firmware versions?

We don't even know at the moment.
Some research is being done for that.
