Isnt AM:U a kernel process, or is it userland? sorry if im asking too many questions, just curious as to how the exploit works. i know it could be making a quote on quote "Link" From userland to kernel.

Actually I'm telling you what @JustPingo told me, AM:u is a special version of the AM handle which is apart of NS. I guess that NS is userland but not directly accessible.

So, are they trying to map a Indirect route to NS, i guess? Then they could exploit the application manager? And from what i know, they have to exploit NS to get to the AM:u.

It shouldn't AFAIK, it'll only touch system files.

The app will need memchunkhax2 to get the privileges and will allow you to downgrade.

No, it's not being developed since memchunkhax2 does the same thing except up to 10.3 and on o3ds too.

I believe it can, I think its more a matter of memchunkhax2 is progressing nicely and it would make SNSHack irrelevant anyway so why put time into it.

No, KernelTimeMachine is a downgrade that uses memchunkhax2. He decided to stop because of how quickly mch2 is being developed .
