Would it be really stupid to buy a gateway or even a sky3ds+ now? A gateway only costs £35 but I'd only have to wait a little longer to have all the same stuff for free right? Pretty sure buying a sky3ds+ for £80 would be really dumb now anyway.

e: Currently have a O3DS and N3DS both on 10.3, actually bought the N3DS only just before christmas before all this stuff was announced, was on 9.8. Wish I'd known about this stuff, generic homebrew wasn't enticing enough to stop me from doing a system transfer.

I get that there's absolutely no ETA, I guess the weeks estimate is just faith in these amazing devs and just that the theory work has already been done right?

There's been some code done. Yeah, there's no ETA, but around two weeks isn't too farfetched. Don't take my word for anything, though.

Yeah, same here. As long as it's out sooner or later, I'm fine with however long it's going to take, especially since we're going to get both a 3DS exploit and a Wii U one.
