I got fed up with Omega Ruby so I decided to try out Pokemon Y. Anyone bypass selecting the starter? Running it on GTX 880M, I tried disabling JIT, nothing, it just freezes.

This is really cool, I use it to record videos of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Gates to Infinity. But quick question, is having no sound at all normal?

Yeah, good idea....But,Of course what i means above is buying the console just for playing pokemon for 2 weeks then sell the console immediately right after half month of using it ,won't you think these kind of players doesn't think twice before selling a gaming consoles, actually what they should do is keep the consoles for at least 3 to 4 years since new gen pokemon will release every 3 year ,as we can guess there will be at least 2 gens of pokemon will be come to 3ds platform....i just wonder why they won't think carefully before buying as well as selling the console ,and now, does it means they will spend money again for the same consoles which they had sold to others 3 years ago? Luckily ,maybe Citra is their only option :hrth:

Yes,if you have strong passion to play all 3ds games without any restriction and you are ready to spend.
No,if new gen of nintendo console is backward compatible , which can play 3ds games as well as its own game (Like gameboy advance may play gameboy/gameboy colour's games) , then why we spend money on old console?

It might take a while before we are able to play backups (we are on GBATemp discussing this on an emulator topic, haha) on the NX, if that's possible at all.

When I bought my 3DS I thought I would play one or two games and simply sell it. Oh, I was wrong, haha.

But yeah, I get your point.

Seeing as its based on hawaii there may only be few pokemon and also there maybe a lot of water types coz theres a lot of water in the region

following the trend, i think 850+.also the generation dont have many pokemon that are counterparts of their real world "object" which are native to the regions the games are based on.Gen I Kanto just randomly got designs with no trend. Gen II Johto had a few real world mythical eastern beasts in there. Gen III Hoenn had some strange nature elemental legendaries and rare pokemon.Though it had a lot of water pokemon. Gen IV Sinnoh brought a lot of science to the games. The 4 regions were all based on real Japanese Locations, and they dont have vast differences in fauna or flora.they still got almost 500 pokemon. then Next is Gen V Unova, based on New York. They got ice cream and the first Trash/rubbish/Pollution pokemon since Gen I koffing and grimer family.dont know about Gen VI Kalos , but i heard they are stylish. so there can never be a "few pokemon".you know that pokemon meme. get a dog and put it on fire, and you got a pokemon.there will be unique pokemon, like the second seal pokemon in the series that are unique to the far eastern islands, but there will be more random ones too.

i tried the latest nigthly build and it did work without a save, but it froze whenever i tried to save for the first time, after that i opened it again and it did save but i had all the items and a lot of rupies with the hylian shield and the masyer sword... weeeird! and it frezes after you talk to an npc

Don't bother with any sort of hack or anything like cheat engine. No way to speed uo the slow interpreter. If you really want, you can skip fromaes via config file to make it feel somewhat faster however only works on certain games.

So I've tried emulating Picross 3D 2 (Rittai Piccross 2).
The most recent nightly Win x64 build can't boot it.
It keeps getting this error: HW.Memory <error> core\memory.cpp::READ181: unmapped Read8 @ 0x10002001

An earlier compile I had found on here could successfully boot it though.
Sadly it can't get past file select, since looped buffers are currently not supported in DSP.
You don't get any music on the title screen, you only get some sound effects on inputs.

At the very least though, the file select can display some of the puzzles you've solved, including the Kirby series amiibo puzzles.
Citra does not render the crown stamps on the file select properly, they're meant to be solid green/cyan, but have been rendered with linear lighting and inverted hues.

Hey man, can you test the build from the link description of this youtube?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Actually what you say have point , better graphic , and i think it is the most critical problem ever that Citra Dev encountered.......They want to make use the PC graphic card to do the same task as what the console can do .....so,the outcome now is "If you play 3ds game on citra in 1080p /HD graphic,it slow down the FPS/speed of the game or vice versa " , most probably they are now confuse on how to achieve balance between graphic and FPS so that it able to run smoothly

Have a look at this video for more detail :

The video you shown is just a compiled Master Build and if you look at the EmuCr name, it dated back last year. It won't bypass the truck or the mirror in the beginning by using that build.

Yup,someone had tested it yesterday ,but i saw the the youtube had just uplouded in early of this month so i thought it may work, =.= ,anyway ,thanks , and may i know the latest custom build work on other 3ds games (except pokemon)? or it encounter the same problem as happen to oras? :creep:
