Hardware Circle pad pro hardmod

Has anyone hard modded a circle pad pro to the side of their N3dsx or made it smaller, the nub is killing me. For lack of words I'm aiming for something like a joy-con I can use on the n3dsxl

I haven't but also wondered this, as I think that nub is a horrid design. I upgraded from my O3DSXL expecting it to be game-changing, but it's really not, it's pretty uncomfortable. It reminds me of the nubs they used to put in keyboards on laptops.

Thanks for the link, but not quite what I'm looking for, might work as a temporary or if I cant find anything better
