Hacking CIOSCORP Installer

After what appears to be a sucessful install of CIOSCORP every game regardless of whether or not they contain an update tells me that I must perform a Wii system update, does anyone else had this problem?

it would say that if you don't have starfall/preloader patches(skip disc update) installed

Starfall is being a pain in the arse now, it wont let me get past the warning screen by pessing B+2

if ya mean 3.3 Mr Prez...i dont think it would be possible mate...i mean maybe you could downgrade your IOS's to all have the bug again and then install without starfall if you really wanted to...

i dunno try it out

it will work on 3.3 but without the use of starfall all your (newer) games will still want an update.

Brick possibility: there, but not happened yet. If it did brick then there is no recovery.

Install: Run this app after you put the CIOSCORP.zip files on your SD card (send an email to [email protected] to get them).

So I read this whole thread(long, but shorter than that system menu thread, only got like 12 pages in on that one), and I have a few questions before trying this out.

1. What files do I need to install? Just the .dol on the first post? Do I run it in HBC like an app? Is there any need for user interaction? Anything needed before installing?

2. What exactly does this do? From what I understand it installs a patched version of all the IOSs. Does it just enable us to play 1:1 copies of games that use the patched IOSs?

3. How is there a possibility of a brick, it seems pretty straight forward to me.

4. Does this affect/change/enable anything else not related to playing backups?

Just want to make sure before i take the tedious task of figuring out how to uninstall all the crap for Gamma

I'm not sure about a few of those, since I'm kinda clueless about cIOSCORP, too, but you need the wad files for it, too. (Thanks, clarky!)

nar dude jus get the pack from my site, put it on the root of ya SD

launch it from HBC
ya good to go

jus make sure your on 3.2 and starfalled, see the thread of guides stickied at the top if you need to know how to downgrade.

Why would it brick? Basically all I need before running the app is Starfall?

EDIT: WinRAR gives me an error when opening the zip, but i'm still allowed to use the files:

Do I extract each wad file to the root?
