Hacking cIOS rev5 Backup Modification

so what you did was look at my video here and then you took the advice of patching the ISO image to 249 so that it would load, you didnt hack ANYTHING at all, you didnt mod anything AT ALL, you just used wanins tool to patch the ISO and marcans tool to reload the system menu under cios249, did you really think no one knew about this? when i was testing the 0.1 loader for wanin we knew about this, its just not worth patching the ISOs to do this. END.

Backup loaders use the leftovers of the DVD Playback system that Nintendo didn't remove from the Wii's core... back in Dev, the Wii was going to have DVD Movie playback functions, but it was scrapped, but the core code was left in...

SOMEONE found this, and wrote code to read a DVD. The only problem is that the DVD playback was limited to 3x... and since it can't be changed because it's hard coded into the Wii, your stuck at 3x speed.

That's why... was that enough for you?

People just don't want to hear it im afraid. I cant understand who in the right frame of mind would play a dvd movie offf their wii?
It reads like Sh*t, cannot be operated especially if movie has multiple menus etc.

Probably the same people who watch movies on their XBOX, XBOX 360, PS2, PS3, and the modders who've installed Wiidia (the Wii DVD player)... the actual DVD player for the Wii would have been better than the homebrew we have now... it would have had full DVD compatability, even with multiple menus.

I personally think that it would be awesome as hell to control my DVD player with a Wiimote... kinda like on a PC, when you click on the word play... gives you that feeling like... yea, fuck you man, I CLICKED play, so PLAY! not just hitting OK on a remote.. I fuckin TOLD it to PLAY! YEA!!

Umm well no... I NEVER patched the iso. The homebrew channel installer was completely a 1:1 backup. (Not really a backup tho)
And first of all I said I DID NOT use the leaked backup launcher cIOS. I used rev5 simply because of DIP module!!!

shut the fuck up, you think im stupid. i know what you did, stop trying to fool people. your "magic" modded r5 cios and manage to someone get it to load games in the menu? why did you use marcans tool if you modded the cios? and i didnt say you did use the leaked 0.1 launcher, im saying me n wanin know about this when we was testing it.

Oh dear lol, what have you got yourself into.
 
Nothing new to see here. You can get the disc channel to appear as if it's loading the disc properly with ordinary games by loading WiiGators cIOS with Menu Loader since long. It's just the teeeeny little thing that they hang when started, just as in the movie.
