I'm trying to install cIOS 38 r14 on my Wii
it has cIOS 38 r8 already

if I run the Waninkoko installer, whether I select SD or internet I get an error (Ret -1)
if I install it via WAD Manager 1.4, it acts like nothing happened

    what's the deal?

RET -1 means nothing was found.

Sounds like your SD card is not big enough. You need at least a 512 stick, brah.

try network install instead of wad install as you don't have the required wad file on the root of your sd card (IOS38-64-v3610.wad)

What? You need exactly 1.87 MiB free on the SD, nothing more.

Edit: Try the WAD of another source.
