its been a long time since i even used my wii but i installed the tph last year some time and have cios not sure what version old 1 installed and a gamma loader which is working,but im seeing all these new loaders and cios's and was wondering if its in my best interest to update if possible the cios and maby a loader??just a bit confused about cios!!thanks in advance if some1 can point me in right direction as to what this is all about.lol
latest cios is CIOS36 rev 07 and latest channel is Backup Launcher v0.3 Gamma 002 Fix, lots of stuff updated so it could be a good idea to update them. You could also instal cMIOS rev03.

You can update the homebrew channel from the wii if you have an internet connection. But you can't upgrade anything else that way.joe9000 said:

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
