Meh, I tried helping. Doesn't want to listen. Good luck with whatever you are attempting to do because apparently its not the fact that you didn't install FBI on emunand and that is exactly what you have to do because you cannot install CIA on emunand with the FBI in homebrew launcher.

I hate making threads just as much as you hate seeing them. :/ (only my second one today)
Installing CIAs don't work.
I set everything up. The dbs seem to be in place.
I load the modified boot.3dsx, load up HBL, load Pasta, go back to HBL, and go to FBI. It never installed to the HOME Menu in either NAND.
When it finished installing, it says SUCCESS. But I go back and nothing is there. Updates don't take either.
NEW 3DS 9.2.20 emu/sys

When you're using FBI, where are you choosing to install your CIAs? With few exceptions, CIAs need to be installed to the SD destination in FBI. If FBI is reporting "Success", but you don't see anything installed, you might be installing them to NAND, which is not where they need to go.

Also, as above poster mentioned, you can't install FBI to emunand using the FBI 3dsx. You'll need to use Decrypt9 injection to H&S app to put FBI on emunand.

You have to load FBI from emunand to install to emunand. If you forgot to install FBI to emunand refer to my post on page one about injecting FBI into Health and Safety app.

Third time I'm saying this, but your link is useless. I'm over it.

You're not providing any detail for people to help you. You complain that you can't install CIAs using FBI. You're positive you're installing them to "SD" using FBI? And again, if you want FBI on your emunand, inject it using Decrypt9. And if you want to get rid of emunand, use any decent software to properly format you SD card (And remove your emunand partition. Google a decent partition manager for this, as I'm sure there are dozens that would work for something this simple).

Being rude to people who take the time to respond to your thread is not the best way to get help.

If anyone even paid attention to the thread instead of bashing me for ignoring the post that I've been said was useless (not noticing that I was being bashed on in the first place, but I'm wrong for making it clear somehow) they would know that I am *NO LONGER* attempting to install FBI. If anyone read, I am now trying to delete my emunand. Pretty sure I am installing them to SD. Why would I go all out of my way to select NAND especially if I know by now that's System Memory?
Can someone explain why Xeno is allowed to say I can't read and that I'm not paying attention but I can't say the link is merely useless?

And if you read my post, you'd see that I said you'd need to use a partition manager to delete your emunand partition (Since you said you formatted and it was still there... Which I know because I read your whole thread..)

So... Yeah...

If you read mine, you'd see that I'm on a phone and there's no way to simply run Windows/Mac apps.
So... yeah..

Which would be a problem that does not belong here. Sorry if you have no access to a computer, but asking for a relevant phone app is something you should do in a forum tailored to that. Not in a 3DS forum.

Nitpicking solves everything.

We can pretty much close this thread.

And ihaveamac seems to be saying that you can do an SD card format with Emunand9 that does not include setting up emunand. You said you did that before, but whatever.

Again, if formatting your card doesn't get rid of emunand, find a partition manager (And any means to run it) and delete the emunand partition on your card. No point in continuing a thread if you know what you need to do.

I'm just going to say read the thread before you respond.

I formatted emuNAND with the tool, but the card is still titled emunand and 2 gigs of my already small card is still unavailable.

Which I mention in that exact response of mine that you quoted (See: "You said you did that before.."). Not sure what you're getting at... Anyway, delete the partition. Done. Sorry if you're having trouble finding a means to do that, but it doesn't change what you need to do.

well then you didn't read into the details enough. Emunand partition is a HIDDEN partition.

You have to use a partition manager to delete it. This involves using a computer.

No access to a computer? then sorry about your luck because you can use google to find your own 'mobile' equivalent because this is a 3DS forum and we aren't going to help you troubleshoot your phone.

I never implied it did...? This is what I've been trying to do since page 1.
Either way, doesn't matter.

Thank you, Captain Obvious.
Like, still nitpicking because it is a tool related to the functionality of the 3DS but whatever. With that logic we should delete all .exe files from this forum or anything related to a computer.
