So when I was hacking my 3ds xl the tutorial I was using said to copy my 3ds files off of the SD card. Which it said was a backup.
So how do I put that backup back on my 3ds?
Pls Answer ASAP

I did not understand 😄 maybe you dumped the nand and thats what you are talking about, if you used a youtube video you must put the link to watch the things you did

Please try to be specific. Is there something wrong with your 3DS that leads you to believe that you need to restore a backup?

Well I tried that but it just made new files
What files were made? What files did you move?

If you want help "ASAP" then you are going to have to provide more details.

1. i need the backup because my hacking went wrong so i want my old 3ds pack before it was hacked
2. the files that are made when i put the backup in are COMPLTEY NEW

Hacking a 3ds can never go wrong as there is too many safeguards in place to that even be a thing

That's not what the backup is for, and that's not how you fix whatever went wrong.

If you want help, you're going to have to be specific about what you think went wrong.

That doesn't answer my questions.

You need to specify how far you were into the cfw installation process, what guide you were following, and what step you stopped at, in order for people to understand and help you..

I was there but at the start i used the video and it never said To make a nand backup. it told me to just copy the file off of the sd card and that was the backup.
Can you access GodMode9 by holding "start" on boot, and Luma3DS by holding "select" on boot? Make sure you have the the GM9/Luma files on the sd card before trying (it's in the guide i linked above). And when you're in GodMode9, you can redo the process and backup your nand and essential files etc.
