Hacking Chrono Trigger on 1.17

Does Chrono Trigger work on 1.17 or do I still have to apply the anti-piracy patch?

No, you'll still need to use the patched version but seeing you've got it anyway why ask?

The J version has the English translation in it anyway, so if you really don't want to use a patch or code, you can use that.

cool I did not know the J version had english trans in it... that sure simplifies things. I didnt want to start playing Chrono until I was sure I wouldn't get part way thru and have it crash.
