I've played the game many times so all I'll do this time is go for a different ending (think theres 6 right?).

12.

and they all have variations based on the decisions you make in the game.

Also:
You should always complete the game normally once before getting the other endings.
It will be VERY difficult without new game +

Or you could just play the SNES rom and get one of those save state packs that has a state for each ending.

using save states to see the endings isn't fun, its cheap. its more enjoyable if you beat the game for each of the endings so then can watch each of the different ending so you get a sense of accomplishment

What makes me curious is at the end it says "Players: 1 (1-4)"... hmm...
The press release said Wi-fi play, so I would assume it will do what most of the Square SNES RPG's of the time were doing and allow different players to control different members of the party. Though that doesn't explain how a fourth player would fit in.

They could make it so you have 4 people in your party at a time, the game is not going to be exactly the same (hopefully). It would be cool if they had Co-op multiplayer, I loved to play SNES games Co-op with my brother and sister.

i BELIEVE i read somewhere that two new features for this game are a new dungeon and a multiplayer VS option. I have no idea what that means... but i assume it'll be a mini game or something. I don't know how they could do multiplayer co-op. I mean, Secret Of Mana did it, but that was action rpg... not turn-based.

I don't think it'd be anything to up the purchase value really. I mean, its fucking Chrono Trigger. They don't need to add anything, in my book, anyway. They could have done a direct port, on one screen, and i'd be a happy panda.

...i can't wait for this...
(this... and Diablo 3... Mmmmmm)

which is why it is called a straight up port.

However, they are addin a few "new" features since they are putting it on the DS like adding touch screen support and a WiFi dungeon GASPZORS!!!

apparently so I hear (don't know if its true though)
but you knew that coming in already since you've probably read all the topics, threads, and posts about Chrono Trigger coming to the DS

I guess it will be cool having a portable Chrono Trigger. Still, just redrawn graphics with more colours as Ferrariman said would be nice. Though it would have taken a hell of a lot longer. Here's hoping that they add a decent amount of content to make up for the lack of visual change!
