Hardware chromebook vs Tablet

soon, im planning to go on a "holiday" for a while. On this "holiday" i still want to use internet from time to time..

So i thought let me get a Chromebook or a Tablet. but dont know what to get. both have they positives.

im going towards more the Chromebook cause it .

A tablet seems better if you just not only Internet but movies and some games too. Even because chromebook seems limited somehow.

What do you want it for? What do you need it for? How much are you willing to spend on the better hardware? And what can they each do.

I personally would only ever get tablets. iPad for battery life and games, and MS Surface Pro for productivity on the go (it's my replacement laptop).
