Just got my xbox 360 HD Case in

does the RPM mather much for the xbox 360? and should i get 500 GB or could i better go
for 1 TB ?

i'm playing now of my external harddrive. how do i transfer my profile and savefiles? just copy the xbox folder or should i do something else?
 
If your 360 is Jtagged then you can any HDD up to 750GB without modding the case. I you do not have a Jtagged console then the most it will recognize is 250GB and you need to use specific models.

To do it correctly for a non Jtag then use Hddhackr with one of these models:
- WD Scorpio Series BEVS/BEAS
- WD Scorpio Blue Series BEVS/BEVT/BPVT
- WD Scorpio Black Series BEKT/BJKT
- WD VelociRaptor Series
- WD AV-25 Series BUDT
 
i'm probably going to go for a 500 gb Western digital harddrive

Just format it on the jtagged 360 normally will do the trick, it will ask for you to input your serial number. You can find your serial number in your settings -dashboard version section if your xbox serial does not matched what is on the case.
