It will happen again since you are using exfat... I didn't believe it either until this happened too me... I had the same issue... Replacing the cfw I used fixed it... I would still backup your sd card and format it just in case...I understand there is an issue with exFAT and homebrew that often manifests itself with Retro Arch.
What you need to understand that my specific issue is NOT the same issue. My sdCard is not corrupt, nor is the save data. After launching ReiNX 1.7.1 the games that failed to launch on Atmosphere work, and the save data that Horizon said was corrupt no longer say that. The games work and the save data is there.
I know the exFAT risk and maintain backups.
