So ive been working for a couple weeks installing Rebug 4.82 CFW, installing several ps1,2 & 3 pkg files. I have spent the most of the past 2 weeks installing & configuring Retroarch. As all of you know Retroarch alone is a daunting task to get everything working properly. The last thing i want to do is let a niece or nephew play with the ps3 and accidentally change a setting or delete a file and screw up all the work i spent gettting it working properly. Is there a way to lock the ability to change any settings or delete any games or files? Like something similar to the kiosk mode on retropie?

I'm sorry I can't give an answer to you question, but I am eager to find out what version of RetroArch you got working with Rebug 4.82. I have posted here before about my problems. I wonder what you mean about RetroArch being a daunting task to get everything working properly. I must admit, all I have done is install it and try to run some games. (I sometimes have tried to update som cores as well). Can you please inform me on what I need to do to get it working? (You can reply to my post, and hopefully someone will come along and help You here!)

Well i never had a problem with retroarch itself booting up. What i had the most problems with is scanning not working and several of the cores not working either. I still have yet to figure out how to get the box art to show up. But ive got the following working so far

Atari 2600: retroarch scanner worked
Atari 7800: retroarch scanner worked
Atari lynx: had to manually create playlist
Gameboy: retroarch scanner worked
Gameboy color: retroarch scanner worked
Gameboy advance: retroarch scanner worked
Nes: retroarch scanner worked
Snes: had to manually create playlist
Game gear: had to manually create playlist
Sega master system: had to manually create playlist
Sega genesis: had to manually create playlist
Mame: play list wont work either way

Turbografx16 boots roms to a black screen.

I have all of these emu's working. The only one with an issue im still working on is mame. I cant get it to show the list of games like all the others. But if i manually load the core then load the rom it works.

Im not home right now. So i dont know which ver. Of retroarch is installed. I know it was one of the nightly's. I can dm you with a list of the versions and which emu's im using. Have you tried the No-intro roms? Alot of the cores have issues with other rom sets and its recommended to us no-intro rom sets.

Also i was not a huge fan of the xmb icons so i made my own. That took me a bit to do as well. If you dm your facebook user name i can send you a video of the icon set that i made.
