Hacking Cheats problem

Help, I downloaded the USRCHEAT.DAT.zip from cheats in GBAtemp and I extracted it. It loaded on my r4cce and I tried checking the boxes. I checked one of the box and then the other, but the box I checked before got unchecked. Please help me with this problem, the codes don't work either. I placed the USRCHEAT.dat in my Edge folder and it still doesn't work.

Edge doesn't use usrcheat.dat, rather cheat.dat.
look again at the cheat database and you'll see the right one for Edge.

You need to download EDGEcheat.dat.zip
When you extract the edgecheat.dat file, rename it to cheat.dat otherwise it wont work
