Gaming cheats on 3 in 1

I have a 3 in 1 with an r4. Id like to know if theres any way to use action replay on gba games (and how!?). Or even gameshark. Is there a program or anything?

EDIT: I use chuckstudios converter to turn them into nds files. Is there anyway to do it that way? Or do i have to change?

I just tried GABSharky but i don't know how to use it properly. Maybe you'll have better luck

EDIT: Looks too complicated for me. Someone please post a tutorial or something easier.
