Hacking cheat twilight menu

hi I'm on the last version of luma and just download twilight menu
I tried to create a file extra because I don't have one . I put the cheat.dat inside but nothing happen
nds/Twilightmenu/extra

is anyone has an answer ?

You can download the Cheatdatabase first from here please:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/deadskullzjrs-nds-cheat-databases.488711/

Extract it please and put the usrcheat.dat in the the Folder _nds\TWiLightMenu\extras <-- (maybe you have to create this Folder first) on your SD Card.

Reboot your DSi/TWiLight please and it should work.

that's exactly what I did and still have no cheats found ....

Please note of the correct typing - usrcheat.dat <-- exact like this please !

Which version of TWiLight Menu did you have please ?

Please check your TWLight/bootstrap Version(s) maybe an Update helps.

Put the file on extras then turn on your dsi go to the rom that you want to put cheats on an press y and the x and there you go then just select the cheat you want and save.
if you did installed the cheat correctly then normally when pressing y you would see "cheats" on the right under the description of the rom.

Does this work on the r4 sdhc gold pro and ndsi (xl) on twlight menu ++ if it does can I have some help I want to play games with everything unlocked and most games have a cheat/hack that does just that

(I understand I can just get a beaten save file but I don't want to get that and ruin my nostalgic memories by replacing the save file)

I want to play download play with my friends and have everything unlocked for them
